Mr. Jamshid Tahmasbi's speech in the
Seminar discussing human rights violations in the MKO- Paris
I refer to the Human Rights Watch [HRW] report on the
MKO; as our mother (Mother Rezvan- Robabeh Shahrokhi) put it "it's a
valuable document, although very limited and partial". It's the first time
that an international organization has published such a report and it's
admirable at a time when ears were deaf (or maybe pretended they are deaf),
at a time when terrorists take advantage by resorting to deception and
killing people and forces officials to withdraw (even in France).
I think it was a year ago here in Paris that I and our friends cried that,
as echoed in the document you [HRW] have published, this organization is
terrorist and is going to assassinate and harass former members; it doesn't
leave us alone, although we are like moving dead, nothing has been left of
us, we lost our souls in the solitary confinement of the MKO's prisons. Here
we shout that they're not leaving us alone and we see that they're evading
justice by deception. We saw that they attacked former members- including
Mr. Haeri, Mr. Javaheriyar- and unfortunately yesterday I was attacked on
the order of a woman called Leila Afshar. She was one of those arrested by
French police on June 17 and the photograph of her arrest is available. A
number of people under her order attacked me. I was lucky and my friends
saved me. But my attackers fled before the police came. We want to open our
eyes and shout again that terrorist can't be divided into good or bad; If
Al-Qaeda has no legitimacy, and it can't have political activities, then why
is the MKO is being given advantages?
Of course, the reason for that is clear for us; because it's paving the way
for working for the US in Iran and in the Middle East. But we want to shout
out: "judicial officials! The only result of freedom for terrorists is that
our lives and the lives of your own citizens are in danger. If we talk here
it's because we don't want the scenario to be repeated again. If they
assassinate us here in Europe, then afterwards it will be the turn of your
own citizens; they will kill the people with the bombs they carry. People
who have not mercy on themselves, and set themselves on fire for Maryam
Rajavi would do anything. They would kill European citizens.
We are warning now that there are no good and bad terrorists; stop the
catastrophe from now.
I won't take your time anymore; I just wanted to refer to the Human Rights
Watch report which is a very valuable document insofar as it has been
published. It's the fruit of the pains and suffers of all our friends who
are here now.
