Mojahedin losing its core supporters

Support for Mojahedin sponsored rallies and meetings is rapidly declining. The MKO's conference in Washington DC in March this year attracted only three hundred supporters. This time a show of support for Maryam Rajavi in Brussels on 25th April failed to get positive reports in the media. Local media which covered the event did not mention the number of participants and only mentioned that the Mojahedin had attracted the support of twelve members of parliaments from all over the world.

Other sources reported the number of participants as low as seventy six people. The internet sites of the Mojahedin cult tried to play down the significance of this rapid loss of support by  using retouched photographs and diverting the attention of their readers to other issues.

Reports suggests that the cult's leaders are having serious doubts about going ahead with another pre-scheduled carnival like gathering in Sweden.

حمايت از گردهم آيي های مجاهدين بسرعت پايين مي آيد. کنفرانس مجاهدين در واشنگتن در مارس امسال توانست فقط سيصد نفر را جلب کند. اين بار برنامه حمايت از مريم رجوي در بروکسل در بيست و پنجم آوريل نتوانست انعکاس جدی ای در مطبوعات بدست آورد. تنها يک نشريه محلي موضوع را منعکس کرد که آن هم گزارشي در مورد تعداد شرکت کنندگان نداد و فقط گفت که مجاهدين نتوانستند بيشتر از دوازده حامي در ميان کل نمايندگان پارلمان های جهان بدست آورند.

منابع ديگر تعداد شرکت کننده را هفتاد و شش نفر برآورد کردند. سايت های اينترنتي فرقه مجاهدين سعي نموده اند تا اهميت اين ريزش شديد نيروهايشان را با عرضه کردن عکس های دستکاری شده و منحرف کردن اذهان به مسائل ديگر پايين بياورند.

گزارشات حاکي از آن است که ريزش شديد نيرو باعث گرديده تا رهبران فرقه در مورد ادامه نمايشات مشابه و بخصوص شوی از پيش برنامه ريزی شده ديگری در سوئد به شک بيفتند.
