MKO Lies about Tehran's Protests

Following the publication of a report about Iran and student protests on Tuesday by AFP, MKO's satellite TV cut its programs and started lying about these events. It claimed that people in Tehran have attacked law enforcement and revolutionary guards and because they had discussed with women and girls for their clothes. In the latest news by this group (MKO), they've claimed that 10000 people have clashed with law enforcement and people have set banks to fire.

Meanwhile, most of the news agencies have said that the protesters have been students. ISNA news agency said that students have protested to privatization of the universities.

There are no reports indicating the use of tear gas or harsh behavior by law enforcement forces. The number of demonstrators has been reported as 3000.
