Rescue the “Abou Ghorayb Jail” prisoners

It is time for all the freedom fighters of the world to try their best to rescue the innocent prisoners of the most dreadful jail, “Abou Ghorayb", in Iraq by informing as many international human right groups as possible.

The level of suffering in this inhumane jail, whose prisoners are mostly the dissociated members of the “Mojahedin Khalgh Organization” (MKO) of Iran, is beyond comprehension and understanding of any human being.

“Abou Ghoraib” is a dreadful jail that Saddam Hossein has provided for Masoud Rajavi and his accomplices to oppress and in most cases eliminate those individuals who do not approve of him, by means of psychological and physical torture.

After the Gulf war, MKO found itself in a much vulnerable and dead-end situation. The leadership of MKO was unable to explain their unreasonable and unlimited support for the dictator of Baghdad, Saddam Hossein. Therefore they had no choice but to start silencing unhappy voices of the organization’s members.

At the beginning and with the help of the Iraqi secret police all unhappy members of the organization were detained and sent to a jail called “Romadi Kasil”. But with the increasing number of the unhappy members who attempted to leave the organization, Saddam provided Masoud Rajavi with the dreadful jail of Abou Ghoraib topunish them with psychological and physical torture.

After the September 11th even and the decision by the US and the European Union to list the MKO as a terrorist group, the pressure on the organization reached its threshold. In return the leadership increased its own pressure on the innocent victims in Abou Ghoraib jail.

In the recent months about 50 former members of the MKO who were being held and tortured in Abou Ghoraib, were extradited to Iran as POWs. These 50 individuals are now under heavy security in Iran. A lot of these individuals permanent disabilities due to psychological and physical torture while they were held in Abou Ghoraib jail.

As it was mentioned above, it is now the duty of every freedom lover to draw the attention of all the world organizations such as the UN, Amnesty International and others, to those innocent individuals who are still being held in Abou Ghoraib Jail.
