Excellency, Leader of the Belgian Parliament and Honorable MPs Your Excellencies, The Foreign Commission of the Belgian Parliament issued a resolution in support of terrorist organization of Mojahedin-e Khalq on April 27, 2006. We really wonder why a country like Belgium, supporter of human rights, should back a terrorist cult! In this regard, we refer you to the reports by Human Rights Watch organization, the US and the EU on this cult. These reports reflect the accounts of former members of MKO about the existence of prisons, torture and censorship in the organization. They say how children are separated from their parents; they talk about mass divorces and abuses by Rajavi and his wife; reports also include numerous examples of abuses of human rights by this terrorist cult, which left a hated picture of itself in Iran by bombings and killing innocent people as well as torturing its own members. Dear MPs, Documents and evidence by former members illustrate how they were tortured and harmed only because of criticizing the authoritarian and dictatorial policies of the leaders. How did you ignore all these documents on the terrorist nature of this anti-human cult? Dear MPs, you ignored all the facts and evidence on the nature of this cult and were deceived by the group's propaganda! Belgian MPs, known as supporters of democracy and freedom of thought, were expected to accept public requests on fighting terrorism and stand firm against terrorists. Everyone is aware of the terrorist nature of this cult and you, as representatives of the people of Belgium, were expected to deal with the issue in a more careful way. In the end, we remind you that it's not good for Belgium and its government to ignore the crimes of a terrorist group, to support it and raise questions about your claims to be fighting terrorism. Your Excellencies, We, former members of the MKO, who have now gathered together in an association to help our friends in the cult, ask the Parliament of Belgium not to forget its humanitarian stances, stay away from this terrorist fascist cult and look at the facts on this terrorist organization when weighing the ways to deal with it; we want to you to condemn this group, as the EU did.
