After the fall of Saddam Hussein, coalition forces seized one of the camps of MKO’s so-called National Liberation Army and changed it to a high-level security military detention center to detain 28 senior MKO officials on terrorism charges.

This detention camp, somewhere between Baghdad and Fallujah, was formerly the headquarters of the MKO (Badi’ and Parsian base); Coalition forces have changed its name to Camp Mercury.

It has been reported that Massoud Rajavi, Mahboobeh Jamshidi, Bizhan Rahimi, Alireza Babakhani and … are among detainees in this prison.
