Roshana Website Reveals MKO Kidnap Plot

MKO agents attempt to kidnap former member in Köln's busy shopping street

First came a warning that the MKO are plotting to eliminate their enemies in Europe:

Roshana website/27th September 2004

Recently, we were informed that parts of MKO's security section and their informants, as well as Mahvash Sepehri, have left Iraq and brought their headquarters to Europe. According to the received reports from inside MKO, their mission is to close the situation for all opposition forces outside Iran, for MKO's dictator leadership has concluded that after the fall of Saddam, the organization's facing a whole odium in Europe and the US (for instance, dependence of the organization to Saddam and his security service has been revealed) and it has been proved that other opposition was right in opposing to Rajavi's wrong positions.

According to the incoming reports from internal meetings of MKO, they have special divisions for their enemies:

1. Their No.1 enemies are the members who have separated from the organization.

2. At the second level, their enemies are nationalist-religious forces inside Iran who have the political events under their control.

3. Opposition forces outside the country, who are controlling the political situation outside the country are at the third place. They are considered as enemies because MKO's anarchical slogans have no effect while these oppositionists exist.

According to this narrow-minded view, Mojahedin have mobilized all their forces in Europe to eliminate defectors in Europe, even by resorting to physical elimination.

We, as former members of this organization, who have resisted/and will resist MKO's chantage, warn the agents sent for this mission that their movements are carefully watched by security services. So, they should be careful not to be trapped by the childish policies of the organization. MKO wants to eliminate its main enemies and at the same time create a shaky atmosphere in Europe and take advantage.

However, we say to the leader of organization: "come on, it's up to you to take the challenge." In the near future, you'll have to answer for you inhumane crimes.

We ,former members of Mojahedin-e khalq, are familiar with the terrorist methods and chantage of MKO. Besides warning European governments about these facts, we condemn MKO's terrorist activities aimed at former members.

MKO's kidnapping plot in Köln, Germany thwarted

On 28th September 2004, stupid agents of MKO's Security section in NeuMarkt region, Köln, tried to kidnap a former member of the MKO (who reveals MKO's crimes) but their plot was thwarted by the resistance of this person. The kidnappers, two agents of MKO in security section, tried to escape but one of them was arrested by the police.

This is how it took place:

On Sept. 28th, a former MKO member, an activist in Roshana Association, left home for shopping in NeuMarkt area in Köln. Two Iranians approached him and greeted him. He said that he didn't know them but they said that they were Iranians and that they were greeting due to being compatriots. This member of Roshana Association said goodbye and left. After a while, he understood that they were following him. Seconds later, they approached him again and said they had questions and that it's good to go somewhere and talk. Roshana member refused and said he was busy and that he had to go. They tried to take him forcefully but he resisted. At this time, kidnappers started beating him harshly. By shouting that "these are terrorists", member of Roshana asked for help. Since the kidnappers acted very violently, all bystanders left the place but one of the witnesses called police by telephone. Learning that the police will be at the scene in seconds, one of the kidnappers escaped immediately but another one, called "Ehsan Rajayee", who was still beating this member of Roshana, ran towards the train station and escaped but he was arrested by police in another station.

Earlier, former members revealed and warned that Mojahedin's terror teams have come to Europe and Germany from Iraq in order to restrict the activities of opposition abroad and anti-MKO resistance. This stupid act by Mojahedin proved that Germany's government and opposition should take seriously the warnings of former MKO members and officials.

In this regard:

1. All political and organizations and oppositions abroad should reveal and condemn these activities of Mojahedin. MKO's violence won't be limited to MKO's own members, and if necessary they will extend it to everywhere and everyone.

2. We warn European states and security officials again that the advancement of terror teams in civilized societies should be stopped. Otherwise, opponents of Mojahedin organization, as well as ordinary citizens, will be threatened by these terror groups.

3. As we had earlier warned deceived members of this organization, they should not make mistake for themselves by following terrorist policy of this organization. We amiably suggest them not to be frightened by these cultish methods of Mojahedin, at least here in Europe, and to come out of this quagmire as soon as possible. We, former members, who are their former friends, are ready to help them get asylum and lead a normal life in the case they leave the organization.

Dear compatriots and citizens, after 4 decades, Mojahedin-e khalq is still sticking to its stupid policy of terror, violence and instability. Mr. Rajavi's policy is to get to power by bloodshed, and he would destroy everything if he feels that he should go. All members of the organization have repeatedly heard this policy from Rajavi's mouth. So, we have to take this threat serious and try to clean the society, especially Iranian society, from this dirty tumor. In this way, we need the assistance of all respectable citizens, especially Iranian citizens.

Roshana's Letter to Germany's Interior Minister

4 October 2004

Dear Mr. Otto Schily,

As you know, MKO has expanded its terror and illegal activities in Europe and Germany by creating safehouses. Particularly, after the fall of the Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein, this terrorist group lost its biggest benefactor and sent its trusted activists and key figures together with Maryam Azdanlou, the wife of Massoud Rajavi, illegally to Europe. Last June, French police arrested Azdanlou and the members of this group in a large raid in Paris and discovered many evidences of terrorist plots and also large sums of money. According to French police, the elimination of former activists of this organization, who reveal inhumane acts of the cult, was planned. In this regard, many former activists visited local police and complained over the threats of this organization against the former members. In recent days, a part of separated members, who act in Roshana Association and reveal illegal moves of MKO, have been spied by the deployed teams of the organization. This was announced earlier. Also, these illegal acts were reported to the police of Cologne.

For your information: Roshana is a registered human rights association which has been formed to help the victims of the violent acts and now covers several victims of MKO and assists them so that they can lead again a normal life. MKO arrested, tortured and murdered dissatisfied members in co-operation with the secret services of fallen Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein. It kept hundreds of dissatisfied members in notorious Abu Ghraib prison.

We regret to say that this group went so far that 2 of its members attacked an active member of Roshana members on 28 September 2004 and wanted to kidnap him. Due to the resistance of this member and immediate act of the Cologne police, one of the attackers was arrested. The arrested person is called Ehsan Rajaie. We ask you, as a responsible person and protector of citizens' rights, to take necessary suitable legal measures against these criminal.

We, former members of the MKO, who had joined this group by deceiving slogans of this group, found the real nature of this organization later and started opposing it. We have paid the price of our opposition: torture and prison. We are now ready to do our duty (revealing the undemocratic nature of this group) and in the case legal organization need our help, we will do our best.

Yours sincerely
