Terrorist threats directed at Iraq's neighboring countries from Iraqi land, such as the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party and Mojahedin- e Khalq, are to be mentioned in a final statement of an international conference on Iraq that is to take place in Egypt next week.

The draft reflects Ankara's sensitivity over the terrorist threats from Iraqi land, a Turkish official told the Turkish Daily News. "The treats directed at neighboring countries from Iraqi land... such as the PKK and the Mojahedin-e Khalq... must be halted," says the draft final statement.

The interior ministers of neighboring countries will hold talks in Tehran on Nov. 30 on the security in Iraq. The Islamic Republic News Agency said the Egyptian and Syrian Interior ministers confirmed that they would attend the two- day meeting in which high level security officials were also expected to participate. Iran, by hosting this type of meeting, war prepared to convey the massage that al- Qaeda was a threat both to Iran itself and to Iraq.
