...“In the 1990’s, Per Stig Moeller (then the Conservative Party’s foreign policy spokesman) voiced his support to the People’s Mujahedin (MKO) and its umbrella organization, NCRI. The Conservatives removed MKO from the party’s list of “known terror organizations” in 2001, after Per Stig Moeller stated publicly that the group had been added to the list erroneously. Following his ascension to the cabinet post as Foreign Minister, Moeller has denied ever supporting the MKO, and the organization has since been added to the European Union’s list of terror organizations. Moeller has broken his longstanding support for the NCRI.”
